Dennis O'Hara is a marketing, communications and revenue development specialist who works with several small business and nonprofit clients nationwide. He assists his clients in focusing and managing their communications activities with the goal of maximizing and sustaining attainable revenue and spreading awareness of mission. A New Orleans native, Dennis moved to Stoneham in 2005 one month before Hurricane Katrina ravaged his beloved hometown. The outpouring of support and encouragement he received from his new Stoneham family following that devastating event solidified his love for his new town. He is involved with a number of local nonprofit and community organizations, presently serving as Chairman of the Stoneham Cultural Council. When not working, Dennis enjoys exploring the many treasures of New England and exposing his friends and family to a taste of his southern heritage through cooking Cajun meals and spinning tales of the South. An avid sports fan, it did not take Dennis long to become swept up in Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics mania. He is just grateful that the Patriots play in a different conference than his beloved New Orleans Saints!
On living in Stoneham, Dennis says, "my favorite thing about living in Stoneham is sitting outside on a pleasant evening and listening to the wolves howling at Stone Zoo. Luckily, I live near enough to the zoo to hear them and it doesn't take much to get them howling!"
