Stoneham Father, Son Arraigned in Little League Embezzlement Case
Stoneham residents Stanley and Stephen Komins are not to leave Massachusetts while their charges are pending.
A Somerville District Court judge ordered a Stoneham father and son accused of embezzling more than $50,000 from the West Medford Little League to surrender their passports and not leave the Commonwealth while their charges are pending. Stanley Komins, 78, and is son, Stephen Komins, 45, both of Stoneham, appeared before Judge Neil Walker Friday morning for arraignment on their charges. Not guilty pleas were entered for both. Stanley Komins was the longtime president of the league's board of directors while Stephen Komins spent many years as the league's treasurer.
