Finding Miss Daisy: Search For Lost Dog Takes to the Web

Stoneham man finds a large crowd in website to help find Daisy, a Border Collie mix that went missing last year.

On July 12, Stoneham resident Ann Mitchell left to go shopping and found that her dog and long time companion Daisy, a Border Collie-Burmese Mountain Dog mix, had gone missing. While traditional search methods have been employed in the past six months, the quest to find Daisy has also taken to the Internet. Help From a Stranger Chris Willard, of Stoneham, first saw one of the posters advertising Daisy's disappearance one morning while getting onto the T, but didn't really think about it until he met Mitchell handing out posters at Friendly's later that evening. He asked her if he could create a website to aid in the search, and now that website has become a centralized source of information for those seeking to help find the lost dog, and …
