When Does the Summer Concert Series Begin in Stoneham?

A reader recently asked us, "When are the concerts in the Common going to begin?" On the first day local bands take to the Commons this summer, the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce will present scholarship awards to town residents.  The town's summer Concerts on the Common series brings local bands to the common every Thursday between June 27 and Aug. 8. The free concerts kick off at 7 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. "The Chamber is proud to award four high school seniors with its Kathleen E. Bray and John F. Mahoney, Jr. scholarships for 2013. The last day of school is June 25, according to the Stoneham Public Schools website. When is Stoneham High School Class of 2013's Graduation?

For the latest You Ask Patch Answers column, a reader asked "When is the Stoneham High School Class of 2013's graduation?" So, with that we sought out the answer. Graduation is slated for 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 7 and will be held at the track field if weather permits. Should inclement weather crop up, the graduation will take place inside the gymnasium.

The Senior Prom is slated for 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 3 at the Tewksbury Country Club, according to a 2013 Senior Notes page. Prior to the prom, the promenade at the Town Common is scheduled for 5 p.m. Need more information about the Senior Prom?
