We've recently added, tweaked and changed a host of features on Stoneham Patch that you may find useful.

Big changes could be coming to the MBTA.
The MBTA recently released a press statement detailing a plan for potential fare increases and service reductions for the entire MBTA transit system. 132 Bus and Commuter Rail Changes The biggest change for Stoneham comes if scenario 2 passes. This would impact the 132 bus out of the Redstone Shopping Center. The route would be eliminated on weekdays and Saturdays, only being available on Sundays. Changes to Commuter Rail Under both scenarios, the MBTA would eliminate weekend commuter rail service, while ending weeknight service at 10 p.m. While there is no commuter rail station in Stoneham, commuters who regularly use the nearby Wakefield and Winchester rails would be impacted.
