Longtime Boston Red Sox pitcher and knuckleballer Tim Wakefield is retiring from baseball after 19 seasons in the majors, according to a Boston Globe report. He began his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1992, where he played two seasons before joining the Red Sox in 1995.
