Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.] B&E at Katherine Road Home  At 11:23 p.m. Dec. 3, Stoneham Police responded to a Katherine Road home on a report of a breaking and entering in progress. A Lifeline operator reported a customer claimed someone was trying to break into her house, according to police. A State Police K-9 unit responded to the scene, as were detectives for finger printing; however, the suspect could not be found and no arrest was made in the case. Police filed a report.
