Police Log: Stolen Vehicle Recovered From Stoneham Boys & Girls Club

Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.] At 9:08 a.m. Aug. 24, Stoneham police responded to the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham parking lot for a report of a recovered stolen motor vehicle. Officers located the vehicle, which had a Massachusetts registration, near a Dumpster. A tow company was notified, as well as Everett Police Department. Aug. 24 @8:33 p.m.: Police called to Spot Pond Mobil on South Street for a report of a disturbance. A 911 caller reported a disturbance with a cabbie and a customer failing to pay the fare. Wow, I feel like everyday I am reading an overall increase in crimes through Stoneham, especially break-ins, larceny, and quick theft. Any chance Stoneham patch can write an article on ways we can stay safe in our local communities?
