Police Log: Armed Robbery and a Reported Rape

Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.] Armed Robbery at Tanning Salon  At 8:12 p.m. Nov. 1, Stoneham Police responded to Sunset Tanning for a report of an armed robbery. A female employee claims the store was robbed by a man with a handgun, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and black pants, according to police. Police filed a report. Reported Rape At 4:29 p.m. Nov. 3, police responded to Main Street Mobil for a report of a rape. The victim claimed that the incident occurred at UMass Boston Library, according to police. Wine tasting for Sandy victims: Melrose-based Beacon Hill Wine & Gourmet will be donating 10 percent of it's proceeds to victims of Hurricane Sandy today. The best part?
