Stoneham Police Searching For Suspect in Home Break-In

A man allegedly broke into a Katherine Road home late Monday night, according to Stoneham Police.

A man allegedly broke into a Stoneham home late Monday night, according to police. At 11:37 p.m. Monday, police responded to Katherine Road for a report of a breaking and entering into a home, according to police. The suspect allegedly gained access to the house when he "pried (the) basement door (open)," said Detective Robert McKinnon in an email to Stoneham Patch Tuesday afternoon. The suspect entered the home, which was occupied by one person, according to McKinnon, but nothing was stolen. He added that no one was injured during the breaking and entering incident.  Shortly after entering the house, the suspect fled and police called in a State Police K-9 unit to track them. A Katherine Road house was broken into late Monday night, according to a scanner report.

A Stoneham home was broken into late Monday night, according to a scanner report. Around 11 p.m., Stoneham Police responded to Katherine Road for a report of a breaking and entering into a home, according to the report. It's unclear if the suspect stolen anything from the house. A State Police K-9 unit was called to the scene, according to the report. It's unclear if the suspect was tracked to a particular location, or apprehended. We'll provide an update once we receive more information.

p.s i feel bad for the people it did happen to god knows what your walking into.sleeping children and what not. i PROTECT my own so cant imagine how that family felt. if it was a family i know i get worried all the time from stuff like this.   more ›
