Resurfacing Work Underway at Pine Street

DPW crews began work at Pine Street Wednesday, according to Pine Street resident Charlie McGrath.

[Editor's note: The following information was submitted by Pine Street resident Charlie McGrath.] Road work began Wednesday and continues Thursday on Pine Street from Summer Street to Pleasant Street, according to Pine Street resident Charlie McGrath. Pine Street is being resurfaced and DPW crews are gringing the top layers of pavement, according to McGrath. "Access is limited and obstructed due to the machinery," wrote McGrath in an email to Stoneham Patch. "Stoneham police are doing traffic control, but use of Pine Street should be limited to residents and emergency vehicles only.  "They will begin the process of repaving in the next week or so," according to McGrath.
