Several hundred NSTAR customers in Stoneham are without power Tuesday morning, according to the energy company's website. Of the 10,585 NSTAR customers in Stoneham, 731 (7 percent) were experiencing power outages as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to a power outage map on the NSTAR website. From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., power outages increased significantly from nearly three dozen homes without electricity to 325. Then, from 6 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday, outages increased from 325 to 492. Some power outages and wires down were reported over the weekend in Stoneham, according to emergency officials. About 60 NSTAR customers are reportedly without power in town as of 4 p.m. Tuesday, and the Department of Public Works hopes to have the storm debris cleaned up this week.
