Reports: Vehicle Explodes in BJ’s Wholesale Club Parking Lot

The call came in at about 3:45 p.m. this afternoon.

Update 8:37 a.m., Monday, Jan. 28 The car's remote key ignited flammable vapors causing the explosion. Read the full story here. Update 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 27 The owner of the vehicle told WCVB that she was about 30 yards away from her car, a 2012 Honda Civic, when she attempted to open her trunk remotely and the explosion occurred. The woman, a nurse at Winchester Hospital, told the news station that she did not have oxygen tanks or anything else flamable in the vehicle. A man allegedly ran out of the store with a bottle of vodka. Police to investigate. May 12 @2:44 a.m.: Police called to a Pomeworth Street apartment for a report of a drunk woman. The caller told police that there was an intoxicated blonde woman on her steps with no shoes on and is crying. UPDATED: Two Multi-Vehicle Accidents on Route 93 Northbound in Stoneham

The first accident happened around 3:30 p.m. Saturday between exits 36 and 37, while the second happened at about 4:30 p.m., according to Twitter reports.

Multi-vehicle accidents have caused traffic issues on Route 93 northbound in Stoneham Saturday afternoon, according to Twitter reports. The first accident took place around 3:30 p.m., and the right lane of the highway was closed and traffic was "backed up a couple miles," according to Twitter user @CelestialAxis. However, all lanes recently reopened and traffic is backed up to Spot Pond, according to Twitter user @NEFirebuff. No reports of any injuries or tows. About 4:30 p.m., @NEFirebuff tweeted: "Another 2 car crash on (Route) 93N at exit 34 in #Stoneham. Left lane taken. And a 3 car paper exchange at (Route) 128 off in the (break down lane)." REPORT: Police Searching for Suspect in House Break on Lynn Fells Parkway in Stoneham

We'll post updates as we receive them.

Police are searching for a man who broke into a home on Lynn Fells Parkway Friday afternoon, according to reports. The incident happened after 2 p.m. and Melrose police arrived on scene first. It's unclear what, if anything, was taken from the Lynn Fells Parkway home. Stoneham police also responded and are searching for a suspect described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, wearing all dark blue sweats with a blue-and-red backpack. The suspect was last seen riding a mountain bike, heading in the direction of J.J. Grimsby's. We'll post more updates as we receive them.

UPDATED: Truck Hits Light Post Near Stone Zoo and Greenwood Park [PHOTOS]

The accident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. Friday

A truck struck a pole in front of Stone Zoo Friday afternoon, according to State Police. The accident reportedly occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. It appears the truck hit a green light post in the median located near the zoo and Greenwood Park.  Two state troopers and cruisers were on scene, as well as a NSTAR truck and employee. A man in a blue truck with emergency lights also was parked along Pond Street near the park.  The NSTAR employee was going to find out who the light post's owner to tend to the damaged pole, according to a State Trooper. Small shards of glass could also be seen on the roadway near the park. It's unclear if anyone was injured and State Police couldn't readily provide additional details.
