We asked, you answered and we received some great entries to our Stoneham Patch Facebook page cover photo contest. Voting opens today, so, scroll through our photos, pick your choice to win and tell us which in the comments section by indicating the picture number. One vote per person, please. Voting will end at noon on Saturday, Nov. 24. The winner will be announced Monday morning, Nov. 26. And don't forget, we’ve added a little incentive: the winning submission will receive a $50 gift card plus bragging rights that their photo is the top of our Facebook page! The top entry in our photo contest won by only one vote! Find out who won below.
We received dozens of entries to our Pet Halloween Costume Contest and narrowed it down to 10 finalists. The voting round closed on Friday, Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. and was extremely close, but one entry came out on top: prisoner Max and prison guard Maisie from Tewksbury, who received 15 votes. Coming in a very close second was Barry the Pirate, who received 14 votes. Max and Maisie's owner will receive a $50 gift card plus bragging rights. Thank you everyone for your submissions and congraulations to Max and Maisie!

We asked, you answered and we received dozens of entries to our Pet Halloween Costume Contest. That left us with a tall task, having to choose the finalists so you can vote for your favorite! Our editors spent hours going through all the entries and selected their 10 favorites. Voting opens today, so scroll through our photos, pick your choice to win and tell us which in the comments section by indicating the picture number and the pet’s name. One vote per person please. We received about 10 photos in Stoneham Patch's "Signs of Spring in Stoneham" photo contest, but the winner is Stoneham resident Jeanne Craigie. Her close-up shot of a crocuses will be featured on our Facebook page on Friday. Thanks to everyone who uploaded images in the contest. Keep an eye out for future photo and video contests on the site.

With today marking the first day of spring, we're kicking off our "Signs of Spring in Stoneham" photo contest. Got some great shots of flowers blooming or kids at play at a playground in Stoneham? Upload as many of your springtime photos to this post by clicking the "Upload Photos and Videos" button below the photo gallery and you'll be entered into the contest. Important: Don't forget to include a) caption information (in sentence format) and b) applying the photographer's name in the "credit" field (if the photographer isn't you). We received plenty of great user submitted photographs from Memorial Day celebrations happening in Stoneham and we thank you all for participating in our photo contest.
