Visit one, or visit all of them. How far will you go? 15-Minute Drive: Horn Pond in Woburn Horn Pond and its surrounding conservation land occupy nearly 700 acres of land in Woburn near Winchester. It is also home to Horn Pond Mountain, also known as Towanda, which is 287 feet above sea level. Trails wind through the area, taking walkers throughout the dry oak-hickory woods.  The Horn Pond Conservation Area also has several memorials, including the Leo F. The Paper Store, located at 99 Main St. in the Redstone Shopping Center, has an array of items individuals may not be able to find anywhere else.  Among the merchandise sold at the store are a variety of fashion items, house decorations, books, jewelry, Vera Bradley pocket books and of course a full line of Hallmark cards and products. Recently, Stoneham Patch put the call out to our readers in search of their favorite local salon and based on their feedback one stood out from the pack: Helaine Marie Salon. Helaine Marie Salon, which recently relocated to 366 Main St., offers its clientele several different services including corrective coloring, multi-dimensional foils, hair cuts, styling services, Keratin Complex Smoothing System, Brazilian Keratin straightening, perms, waxing and other services, according to the company's website. The salon, which is owned by Helaine Marie Buonopane, features independent contractor stylists who are working in a larger space than the original 200 square foot location. Travel Back in Time: Fuller House

Travel Back in Time with the Wednesday Patch Passport, to discover the history and roots of Stoneham.

When it comes to the rich heritage of Stoneham, the Fuller House is just one of dozens of historical buildings still found in the community. William Griffin Fuller, who worked as a leather businessman, erected the Greek revival/Italianate home in 1850, according to Stoneham Historical Society's Historic Walk document. He lived in the home for the rest of his life. However, after William Fuller's death his daughter donated the building to local civic group, who transformed the 19th century building into a "Home for Aged People in Stoneham," reads the Historic Walk brochure.  Eight years later an addition was built at the retirement home located at 32 Franklin St. Today, the Victorian-style building is still operational and serves as a level…
