When is the New Last Day of School for Stoneham?
After those recent snow days, when will Stoneham Public Schools let out this year for summer vacation?
Editor's note: This article was corrected on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 1:58 p.m. The Blizzard of '13 led to a long weekend for Stoneham Public School students two weekends ago, but of course there's no such thing as a free lunch. (Actually, there is in Stoneham Schools, if you're an eligible family.) While the kids might enjoy the day off in the winter, they have to make it up in June. Which leads to this week's question: When's the new last day of school for Stoneham? According to the Superintendent's Office, there have been three snow days so far this year. The original last day of school was Tuesday, June 18, according to the district calendar. So accounting for the snow days so far this year, the last day of school is now Friday, June 21.
