DPW: Trash Pickup on Normal Schedule, Tree Down on Franklin Street

While Hurricane Sandy may hit Stoneham Monday morning, the curbside trash pickup will be operating on a normal schedule, according to Department of Public Works Director Robert Grover. Even though Stoneham hasn't faced the brunt of the storm yet, a tree came down on Franklin Street shortly before 8 a.m. Monday, according to Grover. A crew was responding to the area to take care of the situation. As for the storm operations, Grover discussed the DPW's action plan.
