Stoneham Patch is hosting a Cover It Live online chat session with School Building Committee chairperson Jeanne Craigie and Superintendent Dr. Les Olson from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday to discuss the Stoneham Middle School project. Photo of the Day: 'Light It Up Blue' Autism Awareness Event Planned for April 1 in Stoneham

Our latest "Photo of the Day" is of the Stoneham Board of Selectmen receiving "Light It Up Blue" autism awareness t-shirts from Stoneham residents and event organizers Jeanne Craigie and Brian Gill during Tuesday night's session at Town Hall. The free event is slated for 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 1 at the Town Common. There will be a food—donated by Stop & Shop Supermarket—available, as well as a DJ, games and raffles, according to Craigie.  "We have almost $4,000 in raffle items," Craigie said. All money raised at the event goes directly to support autistic children in Stoneham, she added. The Town Common will be adorned with about 20,000 blue lights on April Fools' Day, according to Craigie. She said the lights will be put up by …
