Report: Komins Has 'No Idea' About Little League Embezzlement Charges
Stanley Komins said "No, no way" when asked by a Fox 25 reporter about the charges that he and his son Stephen Komins stole over $50,000 from the West Medford Hillside Little League.
Stoneham resident Stanley Komins was "seemingly unaware of the charges filed against him and his son," according to a Fox 25 reporter who spoke with Komins about him allegedly embezzling more than $50,000 from the West Medford Hillside Little League. "No, no way," Komins said when Fox 25 reporter Erica Ricci told him about the charges at Komins' Stoneham home. When Ricci said authorities have charged that Komins' wrote checks to himself from the league account, Komins responded, "Sure, because they owed me money. Why shouldn't I reimburse me? I spent hundreds of dollars for the little league on umpires and everything else. But I really, I have no idea."
