The caller reported his mother was being hit by his father, according to police. The woman was taken to Winchester Hospital, according to police. Yong Li, 44, of 23 Mountain View Dr., Stoneham, was arrested and charged with assault and battery. Sept. 18 @8:56 a.m.: Police called to the area of Calthea and Washington Streets for a report of a larceny.
