Nine Spartans Named Middlesex League Boys' Track All-Stars
Of the 16 Middlesex League All-Stars selected for the spring track season, nine of them were selected from Stoneham High school.
Middlesex League All-Stars were selected this week for boys' track, and nine of the 16 athletes chosen are from Stoneham High School. Nine Spartans were selected for eight different spring track events, including: DeAngelo, Aidonidis and Young, senior captains for the Spartans, were proud of their accomplishments given the hard work they put in during the season. For DeAngelo, it was the second time he's received the honor. “It means a lot to me to be an All-Star in my final season at SHS,” DeAngelo said. “I was an All-Star last spring as well, but it doesn’t seem as special as this knowing it is my last season.” DeAngelo said he took away many things from this season, including adjusting to a new coaching staff. “If you listen to your …
