One month to the day of the Boston Marathon Bombings, Sisters Caitlin and Colleen Norden, along with their Uncle Peter Brown, Mike Jefferson and a handful of family friends took to the pavement in an effort to heal.

Fundraiser for Stoneham Man Injured in Marathon Blasts a Hit in Woburn

Woburn-based Tanner Tavern was packed full of people who made a donation to support Marc Fucarile, a Stoneham man and father injured in the Boston Marathon bombings.

Woburn-based Tanner Tavern was filled to the brim with people drinking, eating and jiving to live music for a good cause last night. The crowd gathered to help raise funds for Marc Fucarile, a Stoneham man injured in the Boston Marathon bombings who is the only remaining Boston Marathon victim at Mass General Hospital. He has already lost his right leg and doctors are trying to save his left through various surgeries and medical procedures.   The event was organized by Woburn Firefighter Joe Foley, with the help of many other volunteers, including members of the Stoneham Fire Department. The fundraiser featured raffles, live music, comedian Lenny Clark and food and drinks. People made a $10 donation for entry. There were also "celebrity" …

Mother of Explosion Survivors Calls Marathon Bombing Suspects 'Cowards'

Liz Norden, mother of the Stoneham natives and brothers JP and Paul Norden who were injured in the Boston Marathon bombings, called the bombing suspects "disgusting" and "cowards."

After reuniting with his injured brother earlier in the week, Stoneham native and Boston Marathon bombing survivor Paul Norden left Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital on Thursday, according to a WBZ-TV report. While JP Norden remains at the hospital, Paul Norden headed toward the car in his wheelchair with his 5-year-old niece Gabby coming along for the ride, according to the report. Paul also was seen giving hospital staff hugs before getting into the car under his own power, according to the report. Like his brother, Paul Norden lost a leg in the marathon explosions on April 15. Dr. Carl Conui, a podiatrist who has served as a volunteer at the Boston Marathon for about 15 years, recalls the past month that has gone by since the April 15 marathon bombings.

After the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15, Stoneham resident Carl Conui has spent the past month thinking about that tragic day while also attending several fundraisers. Dr. Carl Conui, who has performed surgeries at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, helped the injured during the bombings. Conui, 44, a podiatrist who works for New England Foot & Ankle Specialists which has offices in Reading and Somerville, has served as a volunteer at the Boston Marathon for about 15 years.  "Doing well one month after the bombings with definitely a thought of resilience," he said. Brothers Injured in Bombing Recovering Together at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital

Stoneham natives Paul and JP Norden, who both lost limbs in the Boston Marathon explosions, spoke Monday about the support they've received, the healing process and what's next.

Stoneham natives and brothers JP and Paul Norden reunited last Friday at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, where they are both undergoing care for injuries sustained in the April 15 Boston Marathon bombings. Used to seeing each other several times a day before the explosion that left them both without one leg, the brothers were glad for the reunion, though it will be short-lived—Paul is expected to be released from Spaulding soon for out-patient care, while JP will remain behind. Jarrod Clowery told a Boston radio station just how much the community has meant to him in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings.

Stoneham resident Jarrod Clowery didn't just leave Spaulding Rehabilitation last week. He walked out the front door. Clowery was in studio with the Toucher and Rich show on 98.5 The Sports Hub on Friday, and spoke what he's gone through in the last month since he suffered shrapnel damage from nails and BBs that were blown into his leg. According to the radio station, Clowery underwent multiple surgeries and still has two more to go. Still, he was able to walk out of the rehab center last week. The Stoneham resident said was has been incredible to witness since Marathon Monday has been the support of his home town. Nearly a month after the Boston Marathon bombings, a pair of brothers from Stoneham who lost limbs in the explosions will be reunited at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, according to a hospital press statement.

JP and Paul Norden will give a short statement and answer questions during a press conference at noon on Monday at the Charlestown hospital, according to the statement.  Dr. Ross Zafonte, vice president of medical affairs and a treating physician for both JP and Paul at Spaulding, will be on hand to give a clinical summary and overview of the brothers' course of care and outlook ahead, according to the statement.

Evidence Points to Marathon Bombers' Connection to Waltham Murders

Investigators are looking into the possible involvement of the accused Boston Marathon bombers in the 2011 triple homicide in Waltham.

  Authorities have amassed evidence indicating accused Boston Marathon bombers Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his brother, Dzhokar, possibly killed three men in a Waltham home in 2011, according to ABC News.    Investigators have "mounting evidence" including forensics pointing toward the Tsarnaev brothers', says ABC.  Tamerlan was killed in an April 19 shootout with police in Watertown and Dzhorkar was later captured hiding in a boat in Watertown.  After the April 15 bombings, federal and state authorities began investigating the brothers' possible link to the murders after learning Tamerlan was a close friend of one of the victims, Brendan Mess. Mess, along with his two friends, Erik Weissman and Raphael Teken, were found murdered in a Harding …
