Alleged Serial Gun-Wielding Robber Arrested by Stoneham Police

Police believe that 19-year-old Taylor A. Goulding is connected to seven recent armed robberies in Stoneham, Woburn, Winchester, Melrose and Reading.

Stoneham Police have arrested a 19-year-old in connection with seven recent armed robberies in the area, the department announced in a press release on Thursday morning. Taylor A. Goulding of Stoneham is charged with two counts of armed robbery while being masked and one count of attempted armed robbery while being masked for the three robberies that occurred in Stoneham on Oct. 30 at DB Mart, Nov. 1 at Sunset Tanning and Nov. 11 at C-Store. In each of those robberies, the suspect was described as a white male, wearing a black ski mask, black sweatshirt, black pants, black gloves, black and white sneakers, and brandishing a black handgun, according to Stoneham Police. Armed Robbery in Reading Thursday Night

The Gulf Station on Main Street was robbed at gunpoint.

The Gulf Station on Main Street was robbed late Thursday night, according to WCVB.com. No injuries were reported. The suspect was armed and believed to be the same person who recently robbed stores in Melrose, Stoneham and Woburn, according to WCVB.com. State police assisted Reading Police to track the suspect, but no arrests have been made. Check in with us for updates.

With two nighttime armed robberies in less than a week, we'd like to know: Do you feel safe visiting Stoneham businesses at night? On Tuesday night there was an armed robbery at the DB Mart on Main Street, and another armed robbery occurred Thursday night at Sunset Tanning on Montvale Avenue, according to police. My wife and I will not venture to the high crime spots like Variety Stores, Package Stores, Food Shopping stores or a Bank after the sun sets. With the increase of armed robberies in Stoneham there's no sense taking a chance. I am all for raising taxes to increase the presence of police in our town. Police: Tanning Salon Robber Matches Description of DB Mart Suspect

The description of a suspect involved in an armed robbery Tuesday night at the DB Mart convenience store may be the same person that robbed Sunset Tanning Thursday evening in Stoneham, according to police.

The description of a suspect involved in an armed robbery Tuesday night at a Main Street convenience store may be the same person that robbed a Montvale Avenue tanning salon Thursday evening in Stoneham, according to police. At 8:12 p.m. Thursday, Stoneham Police responded to Sunset Tanning, 62 Montvale Ave., for a report of an armed robbery, according to Detective Christopher Dalis. "(The) suspect approached (the) female clerk, brandished a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded (the) cash drawer," Dalis said, adding that the "suspect fled on foot toward the parking lot." Stoneham Tanning Salon Robbed at Gunpoint

There was an armed robbery at Sunset Tanning Thursday night, according to a scanner report.

There was an armed robbery at a Stoneham tanning salon Thursday night, according to a scanner report. At around 8 p.m. Thursday, Stoneham Police responded Sunset Tanning, 62 Montvale Ave., for a report of an armed robbery, according to the report. A male suspect showed a handgun, took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the salon, according to the report. This is the second armed robbery in Stoneham this week, including one Tuesday night at DB Mart convenience store. The tanning salon was closed upon arrival. Police declined to comment on the case Thursday night, but did say no arrests have been.

Stoneham Police Release Surveillance Photo of Suspect in Armed Robbery at Stop N Save

Do you recognize the suspect in this surveillance image captured during the April 14 robbery at the Franklin Street convenience store?

Stoneham police have released a surveillance photo captured during the armed robbery at Stop N Save last weekend. At 8:02 p.m. April 14, police responded to a robbery in progress at the convenience store, located at 140 Franklin St., according to the police log. The suspect was reportedly carrying a black handgun, wearing a black net-like mask and a hooded sweatshirt, according to the store clerk. The clerk claims the suspect is the same person who robbed the store previously wearing a Joker mask. The Stop N Save was robbed at 10:02 p.m. Jan. 12 and "the handgun in both cases appears to be an exact match," according to Det. Chris Dalis. Stoneham Police Investigating Leads in Armed Robbery at Stop N Save

Detectives have some leads they're investigating and will be reviewing surveillance video from the Saturday night robbery at the convenience store, according to Stoneham Police Chief Richard Bongiorno.

Detectives are investigating some leads and plan to review surveillance video from the armed robbery Saturday night at Stop N Save, according to Stoneham Police Chief Richard Bongiorno. As of Tuesday afternoon, no arrests or positive identifications of the gunman have been made, according to Bongiorno. "We're reaching out to other communities to see if they've had similar activities, and we have some video but we've had some problems downloading (it)," Bongiorno said. "We think once we have video, we can send it through NEMLEC (North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council) and see what we come up with.
