Police Respond to Accidents in Stoneham Monday
Two accidents kept Stoneham Police busy Monday morning.
Two accident scenes kept Stoneham Police and Fire busy Monday morning. Around 8 a.m. Monday, police and fire responded to a hit-and-run call near the McDonald Finnegan Funeral Home located on Common Street. A fence, funeral home sign and stop sign were damaged after a woman reportedly crashed at the funeral home site. The cause of the accident is currently unknown. Car vs Pole About 9:30 a.m. Monday, police and fire were called to Forest Street for a report of a single-car crash into a pole. A silver sedan crash struck a pole, which did not fall but was split toward the base of the pole. The car sustained significant front-end damage. It's unclear if anyone was injured during the crash.
