Lots of Love Cat Rescue's Pet of the Week

Mystic Needs a Loving Family

Will you adopt this friendly feline?

[Editor's note: The following column was submitted by Lots of Love Cat Rescue.] What do Mila Kunis, David Bowie and Jane Seymour have in common with Mystic the cat? They all have enchanting different colored eyes! The name Mystic means magical which is the purrfect description for the delicate beauty that she is. Only 10 months old, Mystic is friendly, playful and very attentive. She is an all-white angora mix with one gold eye and one that's blue. Most likely she will need to be an only cat since she seems to be less than interested in other cats, as she voices her growl in their company. She is okay with low-key, well-mannered dogs that she has met.  Mystic was rescued by a woman who found her in her backyard considerably underweight. …

PAWS Pet of the Week

Adopt Iron the Cat

Find out more about this friendly feline in our latest PAWS Pet of the Week column.

What would you do if there was a raccoon eying your babies?  You would grab a baby and run. That is how I ended up at PAWS. A raccoon was scaring me, so I took one baby in my mouth and started across the street. That seemed unwise, so I headed back. I guess some people noticed me looking indecisive and worried. It was my lucky day when I was rescued with that kitten in my mouth. It was an even luckier day because my rescuers went back and looked around and found my other three kittens. We were taken to a warm place with great food and nice people. My kittens grew up fat, sassy and safe and they all got adopted. It’s only me left now and I am looking for a home of my own. One without drama. That one exciting day was enough for my lifetime. …
