Monday Essentials: Visit the Aussie Adventure Display at Stone Zoo

Here is a sampling of what's happening in Stoneham from Aug. 19-23:
1. The Stoneham Board of Health meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall in the Board of Health Office, according to the town website.

2. A craft group will meet at 10 am. on Monday at the Stoneham Senior Center, according to the senior center website.

3. Check out the Aussie Adventure display at Stone Zoo! See koalas, kookaburra and other animals from Down Under from now until Labor Day, according to the Zoo New England website.

4. Stoneham Public Library will be hosting LEGO Day from 10:30 a.m. to noon Friday in the Children's Room, according to the library website. The program is for children ages 5-plus (best for 8-plus), and children under 8 need to be accompanied by an adult, according to the site.

5. Redstone Liquors will be hosting a Rising Tide beer tasting from 4-7 p.m. Friday, according to the Redstone Liquors website.
