Will You Adopt Amigo?

This lovable feline needs a good home.

We were made aware of our furry friend Amigo over a year ago. He and his mom were being fed by a kind man who built an outdoor shelter and feeding station for them. Each day he would journey into the woods to check on them.

One morning he found only Amigo, acting distraught. With no sign of the mom, he feared the worst since there were coyotes in the area. We were contacted and once trapped, Amigo was fully vetted and brought to a foster home, where he still remains, long overdue for his own home.

Why is this sweet cat overlooked time and again? Due to the color of his fur, being a little shy and that he’s not a kitten. It surprises people when learning the phone barely rings for black cats.

Amigo is a wonderful cat. Around four years young, with his silky-shiny coat that feels like velvet, Amigo is still a little shy with new people at first. However, he gets over it quickly and makes adorable squeaky noises for attention. He also gently nudges his head against your hand for pats.

Possessing a very gentle soul, Amigo gets along well with other cats and is fine with the dogs he has met. Amigo needs a chance at love and is just waiting to share it with another “amigo.”
