Attend the Boys & Girls Club 40th Anniversary Gala on March 7

The Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham is hosting a 40th Anniversary Gala March 7, 2013. This event will honor several individuals who have been instrumental during the history of the Club.

Since 1972, the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham has offered a safe and fun location for youth in the community to frequent. This past year marks the 40th Anniversary of the Club, and in honor of this occasion the Club is hosting a 40th Anniversary Gala to commemorate key individuals who have been essential in founding the Club and ensuring the Club continues to make an impact in the community. This event will take place Thursday, March 7 at Montvale Plaza, starting at 7 P.M.

It is evident that the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham has been a true cornerstone of the local community for the past 40 years and still to this day aims to better the lives of those attend and maintains its central mission, “To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”

Our 40th Anniversary Gala is a celebration of the Club’s ongoing service to the community and honors the following individuals: Club founder Cameron Bain, former Executive Director, Patrick O'Donnell, current Club Director, Donna DiVirgilio, and Stoneham Bank President, Janice Houghton.

Tickets sales for this event will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham, and help fund the Club’s youth programming in character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, and sports and recreation.

Tickets are priced at $75 per ticket and $750 per table of 10 seats, which includes dinner. Tickets are available by phone by calling 781-438-6770, or email at info@bgcstoneham.org. Attending this event is an excellent way to show your support for our local Boys & Girls Club and positively influence the children and adolescents in our community.
