Here are five things you should know for Friday, Aug. 3:

1. Happy birthday, Tommy boy! New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady turns 35 Friday, along with several other notable celebrities, including Metallica frontman James Hetfield (49), actor Martin Sheen (72), TV personality Martha Stewart (71), singer Tony Bennett (86), former Buffalo Bills coach Marv Levy (87) and Collective Soul lead singer Ed Roland turns 49, according to the Famous Birthdays website.

2. Watch the sky: Check out the Masters of Flight: Birds of Prey program at  Friday to see several types of birds, including the bald eagle, bateleur eagle, Egyptian vulture, military macaw, spectacled owl and white-necked raven, according to the Zoo New England website. The event is free when you purchase a regular zoo ticket. Showtimes are at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
