Stoneham Firefighters 'Cook For a Cure'

What did they cook?

On March 22, the Stoneham Firefighters participated in a MDA event at the Danversport Yatch Club called "Cooking for a Cure". Their delicious entree of  corn soufflé  earned them 2nd place favortie by the judges.They also won the "people's choice award, and last but not least the  culinary crusader award given to the Fire Department that got the most "tips" in their boot.

Stoneham Fire would like to thank Tim Doane from the Marblehead Fire Department who hosts this event each year, along with Vanessa Malfitano, the MDA area director.  Also, thanks to Jon from Capers Catering for donating a portion of the ingredients for the dishes that were prepared, and for making his Capers Facility available for food preparation.
