Milan Lucic of the Boston Bruins and NMTW Community Credit Union will host the second annual Milan Lucic’s Rock & Jock Softball Game on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 7:00pm at LeLacheur Park in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The event, which is open to the public, will pit current and former professional athletes against popular radio and television personalities, [including Stoneham's Lori Grande (co-host of the JW & Lori Show on Country 102.5)], and well-known entertainers. Proceeds from the event will benefit Celebrities for Charity Foundation and NMTW’s Charitable Partners.
In addition to Lucic, the celebrities that are scheduled to play in the game include: Boston Bruins’ Nathan Horton, Daniel Paille, and Tuukka Rask, former Bruins’ Rick Middleton and Cleon Daskalakis, gold medal Olympic hockey player Colleen Coyne, actor and comedian Lenny Clark, WBZ’s David Wade, WCVB’s Mike Dowling, WHDH’s Joe Amorosino, FOX 25’s A.J. Burnett, Country 102.5’s John “JW” Willis and Lori Grande, MAGIC 106.7’s Dan Justin and Amanda Giles, Comcast SportsNet New England’s Joe Haggerty, Executive Producer of The Family Guy, Danny Smith, Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys, and many others.
“Last year’s Rock & Jock event was a great event and I’m thrilled to be back this year to raise money for the Celebrities for Charity Foundation and the local charities supported by NMTW Community Credit Union,” said Milan Lucic.
“At only $10 per ticket it is a very affordable way to enjoy a fun family night at the ballpark, meet some of my celebrity friends, and raise money for some great local charities.”
One lucky person will also have the opportunity to win a spot to play in the game and receive four VIP Tickets to watch the game.
