2 Spartans Set School Records at State Track & Field Meet
The athletes competed against the state's best Saturday.
Two Stoneham High athletes set school records Saturday at the 2014 All-State Track & Field Meet at Bridgewater State College.
Junior sprinter Jimmy O’Brien finished fifth in the 200-meter dash in a new school best of 22.48 seconds.
In the girls’ pole vault, sophomore Giana Lanzillo cleared 9 feet, 9 inches, also a school record, to take eighth place.
