Techniques to Handle Challenging Behaviors

Family Education Workshop

Are you caring for an aging parent or relative with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia? Are you struggling to handle certain behaviors, such as refusing to eat or take a shower? Are you worried that your mom or dad may cause harm to themselves or others? Would you like to learn about some techniques to help handle these challenging behaviors, on your own or in partnership with professional caregivers?

The Family Education Workshop will help you:

 1.  Learn more about the challenging behaviors that may be displayed by those with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.

2.  Discover techniques to help handle these behaviors.

3.  Determine what techniques work best to manage different types of behaviors.
