Town of Stoneham's Fall Curbside Leaf Pickup Schedule

Find out when the town will be collecting your bags of leaves.

Wondering when the town of Stoneham will be collecting your bags of leaves? Fear not, as the town recently released its fall curbside leaf pickup schedule.

"This year, leaves will be picked up along with your weekly trash on the following four weeks listed below," read the notice to Stonehamites distributed at Monday's Special Town Meeting. "There will be (two) trucks during these weeks, one for trash and one for leaf pickup."

Leaf pickups are slated for your regular rubbish day only pickups for the weeks of:

  • Monday, Oct. 29 through Friday, Nov. 2
  • Monday, Nov. 5 through Friday, Nov. 9
  • Tuesday, Nov. 13 through Saturday, Nov. 17 (No pickup will be made on Monday, Nov. 12 due to Veterans Day)
  • Monday, Nov. 26 through Friday, Nov. 29

"Leaves may be put out in paper bags or barrels/containers (without covers) that can easily be dumped," reads the statement, adding no plastic bags will be accepted. 

Rubbish and leaves must be at curbside by 7 a.m., and rubbish containers need to be kept seperate from leaf containers.

Branches and brush will not be picked up by the town.
