Planning Council Forum to Shape Future

The forum is being held on Tuesday in Winchester.

The North Suburban Planning Council is hosting a Priority Mapping Project Next Steps Forum on Tuesday in Winchester.

Town officials from various towns, local business and commission members and community advocates will meet to discuss the results of the NSPC’s Priority Mapping Project. Read the report here

The group has spent more than a year identifying local and regional priorities for development, preservation, and infrastructure investments within the region of Burlington, Lynnfield, North Reading, Reading, Stoneham, Wakefield, Wilmington, Winchester and Woburn.

Those who attend the event will “view a map gallery of identified priorities, and participate in a brainstorm of how information emerging from the report can be used to support continued planning for development, preservation, and infrastructure investments. Project ideas identified at this forum may be considered for implementation by NSPC and our member municipalities,” said NSPC.

The forum is free and open to the public. The event if from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25 in the Winchester Town Hall Auditorium, 71 Mt. Vernon St., Winchester. Dinner will be served from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
