New Trash Regulations in Stoneham Effective Monday

Residents can throw away no more than 90 gallons.

Effective June 30, 2014 the Town of Stoneham will impose changes to the regulations concerning trash (solid waste) and recycling, provided to residential households, as posted on the town's website.

Trash collection will now be limited to 90 gallons total per home. No container can exceed 50 pounds. No loose trash.  All trash and bags placed in barrels must not overflow or exceed the rim of the barrel.  All individual trash bags must be tied closed.
