MBTA Switching to New Digital Parking Service in February
Riders who currently use the Parkmobile service will need to register with PayByPhone before the end of the month.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority will be switching mobile parking payment providers from Parkmobile toPayByPhone technologies, the MBTA said Monday.
What does this mean for MBTA riders? Parkmobile will end service at MBTA parking lots on Saturday, Feb. 1, after which time all Parkmobile customers will need to sign up with PayByPhone, according to the announcement.

Riders can register for a free account at paybyphone.com, or download their app from their app store. MBTA patrons can also register and park using ParkByPhone's dial-in service at 1-866-234-7275.
