Town Counsel Bill Solomon told the Board that Attorney John Witten was chosen for legal counsel on the Weiss Farm Development. “Attorney Witten is well versed in 40B cases and has had good success,” Solomon said.
“He is a planner and has tremendous experience in 40B. He has shown, based on his record, a good, practical ability to handle these cases in towns with the best result on the ground and the best result for the town and the public.”
The town would hold a public session to discuss the next phase of this project after Attorney Witten meets with board.

Audience members asked if there was a strategy for the development of affordable housing in town. The Selectmen told the crowd that this would be one of the most important aspects of the meeting.
The Board unanimously approved the legal counsel and told the crowd that they are putting the next step in motion.
