Who Are Massachusetts' Most Wanted Fugitives?

These four people are wanted by police for various assaults.

Every day, police solve crimes in all our communities. But when suspects get away, Massachusetts law enforcement officers turn to the public for help. And that’s where the Mass Most Wanted network comes in.

Here are four of the state’s Most Wanted criminals within the network:


Boston

Name: “Jeff”

Crimes: A 15-year-old girl was approached at the Downtown Crossing MBTA station by the suspect, “Jeff.” While waiting for the train, Jeff allegedly asked the victim if he could give her $10 and “lick her.” When the girl said no, he grabbed her by the arm and dragged her to a set of stairs and started to pull at her clothing. The girl pushed him away, but Jeff allegedly forcibly kissed the victim. The suspect threw a $5 bill at the victim and boarded a train to Ashmont. Police captured Jeff on surveillance video exiting the train at the Field’s corner station.

Randolph

Name: Matthew Nicholls

Crimes: Nicholls has multiple warrants and is wanted out of several communities for larceny, receiving stolen property, and failure to stop for police. According to police, Nicholls is known to steal caravans and place a photo copy of an active license plate of the same model vehicle on the stolen vehicle so it appears active. He is known to sleep inside vehicles and cover the rear and side windows. Nicholls also has a history of sleeping inside storage units which he rents. This fugitive has a history of not stopping for police.

Framingham

Name: Stefan Jones

Crimes: Jones is wanted by police for an armed home invasion with a firearm on August 16 of 2013. During the break-in, Jones allegedly shot a man twice, including once in the chest, with a gun possibly equipped with a silencer. Police believe that Jones suffered stab wound injuries to the left side of his neck during the crime. Jones is considered armed and dangerous and possibly living in Worcester.

Lawrence

Name: Ruben Rincon

Crimes: Rincon is wanted for unlawful carrying of a firearm, assault and battery with a firearm, assault and battery with a cinder block and assault and battery with a taser. The assaults are from a Avenue C housing in Lowell, but Rincon’s last known address was Boxford Street in Lawrence. There is a reward available for the location/arrest of this fugitive.
