Stoneham Police Arrest Wakefield Man Accused of Assault in Medford

At 11:34 a.m. June 28, Stoneham police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Alden Avenue and William Street after receiving a be-on-the-lookout report from Medford police for a suspect allegedly involved in breaking and entering and assault incidents, according to a police log. Medford police advised Stoneham police to arrest the suspect on their charges, according to the log. Francis Pisani, 25, of 22 Salisbury Road, Wakefield, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. At 12:10 p.m., Pisani was released into Medford police custody, the log notes.

June 26

9:44 a.m.: Police responded to Rapid Liquor on Main Street for a report of a past theft of alcohol, according to a police log. 

12:09 p.m.: Police called to Montvale Avenue for a report of a two-car accident, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.

1:44 p.m.: Police responded to Pignone's Cafe on Main Street for a report of illegal dumping, according to a police log. The caller claimed that a resident was illegally dumping in their Dumpster.

1:57 p.m.: Police responded to Franklin Street for a report of a hit-and-run vehicular accident, according to a police report. The caller claimed that the other driver did not provide their insurance information and drove off after the crash, according to the log. 

3:24 p.m.: Police called to Calthea Street on a report of a past assault, according to a police log. The caller claimed that their neighbor had assaulted them. 

8 p.m.: Police responded to Tamarock Terrace for a report of vandalism, according to a police log. The caller told police that her window was broken by a golf ball, according to the log.

June 27

7:56 a.m.: Police responded to Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident, according to a police log. One vehicle was towed from the scene, and no transports logged.

8:48 a.m.: Police called to Route 93 South between Exits 34-35 for a report of a motor vehicle accident, according to a police log. State Police were on scene, according to the log. Two people were transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington, the log adds.

June 28

1:04 p.m.: Police called to Highland Avenue on a report of a hit-and-run vehicular accident, according to a police log. The responding officer reported damage to a vehicle's right-front panel, and there was some black paint transfer. No tows or transports logged.

5:04 p.m.: Police responded to Central Street for a report of a hit-and-run vehicular accident, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.
