Stoneham Man Accused of Assault to Murder After Stabbing
At 2:11 a.m. Aug. 2, Stoneham police responded to Patrick Circle for a report of an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in progress, according to a police log. The caller claimed that he had just been stabbed, and an ambulance later transported him to Winchester Hospital, according to the log.
Ross Minotti, 43, of 1 Keith Lane, Stoneham, was arrested and charged with assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and providing a false statement on a firearm application.
Last week's arrest was not the first for Minotti, as he was arrested on a warrant on July 20, 2012 at the Red Roof Inn in Woburn.
Aug. 1
11:14 a.m.: Police called to Salem Five Bank on Main Street on a report of a larceny, according to a police log.
12:15 p.m.: Police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Emerald Court, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.
1:02 p.m.: Police responded to Central Street for a report of unauthorized use of services, according to a police log.
9:27 p.m.: Police called to Drummond Road for a report of a domestic incident between a father and son, according to a police log. The son, a juvenile, was arrested, according to the log.
