Stoneham Driver Accused of Striking Pedestrian Near Flynn Rink

A Stoneham man faces multiple charges after allegedly striking a pedestrian with his car near the Medford/Stoneham line Tuesday morning.

About 10:30 a.m., an Infiniti Q45 driven by Troy Sealy, 30, struck a man near Flynn Rink, according to State Police Trooper Thomas Murphy.

Paramedics from responded to the scene, but state police did not have any information on the victims injuries or whether he was transported to the hospital.

Sealy was arrested at the scene and charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a class A drug (heroin), and speeding, Murphy said.

The accident occurred somewhere between the rink and the old New England Memorial Hospital on Woodland Road, which is located in Stoneham, Murphy said.
