Police: Two Arrests and Mysterious Nails in a Driveway

Dec. 5

11:43 a.m.: Someone found a cell phone in the middle of Sparhawk Circle. A good citizen turned it in and the owner claimed it later that day.

7:59 p.m.: A caller on Prospect Street reported their truck rolled out of the driveway and hit a neighbor’s stone wall. There was no damage to the stone wall and the damage to the truck will be handled through the owner’s insurance.

11:43 a.m.: A caller reported 12 to 15 nails in their driveway. There have been numerous flat tires in the area.

4:23 p.m.: Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Main Street and took the driver to Winchester Hospital. Officers found a warrant out for the man’s arrest. Thomas McLaughlin, 45, of 45 Judith Road, Tewksbury, MA was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

6:36 p.m.: A caller reported an older man harassing a woman at Dunkin Donuts. The man was gone by the time police arrived.

 

Dec. 7

6:20 p.m.: Officers charged Daniel Falle, 48, of 72 Pine Street, Stoneham with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.
