Police Respond to Multiple Accidents

July 26

1:20 p.m.: Police called to Montvale Avenue on a report of a past breaking and entering attempt, according to a police log. The caller reported that there appeared to be a breaking and entering attempt to an emergency door and vandalism to the area, according to the log. 

4:24 p.m.: Police called to the area of Stoneham Ford on Main Street for a report of a minor accident, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.

6:15 p.m.: Police called to Main Street for a report of a two-car accident, according to a police log. One person was taken to Winchester Hospital, according to the log.

6:43 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Pleasant and Central Streets for a report of a two-car crash, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.

July 27

10:32 a.m.: Police responded to the area of Elm Street and Macarthur Road for a report of a minor accident, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.

10:59 a.m.: Police called to East School Field on Beacon Street for a report of a used hypodermic needle found near the entrance, according to a police log. The needle was located and disposed of properly.

1:35 p.m.: Police called to Redstone Shopping Center parking lot for a report of a dog left in a vehicle with no open windows, according to a police log. The dog's owner was located and advised by officer not to leave the dog alone in the vehicle on a hot day, according to the log.

3:33 p.m.: Police responded to Route 93 at Route 128 for a report of a vehicle crash, according to a police log. State Police also responded. One person was transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington, the log adds.

6:17 p.m.: Police called to the area of Elm and Washington Streets on a report of an accident involving a car and a motorcycle, according to a police log. One person was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, according to the log. 

8:38 p.m.: Police responded to Washington Avenue for a report of two men fighting, according to a police log. One of the men allegedly involved in the fight fled prior to officers arriving on scene, but later went to police station, according to the log. One man was taken to Winchester Hospital, while the other was transported to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, the log notes.

July 28

1:11 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Main and North Streets for a report of a past hit-and-run incident, according to a police log. 

1:30 p.m.: Police called to Pond Street on a report of a dead cat in the road, according to a police log.

3:56 p.m.: Police responded to South Street for a report of a accident, according to a police log. State Police notified, according to the log. A person was transported to Winchester Hospital, the log adds.

6:13 p.m.: Police called to the Main Street and Montvale Avenue on a report of an accident, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.
