Police Receive Multiple Complaints About Solicitors in Stoneham
At 12:08 p.m. July 25, Stoneham police responded to the area of Elm and Main Streets for a report of a solicitor, according to a police log. Police advised the woman solicitor to stay off the roadway, according to the log.
About three hours later at 3:32 p.m., police returned to the Elm and Main Streets area for a report of a solicitor, according to a police log. The caller reported having to avoid a solicitor who stepped into the roadway. Police told the soliciting crew's supervisor about the complaint, the log adds.
July 25
9:28 a.m.: Police responded to the area of Country Club Road and William Street for a report of a minor two-car crash, according to a police log. The drivers exchanged insurance paperwork, the log adds.
11:26 a.m.: A Mountain View Drive resident visited the police station to report unauthorized withdrawals made from her checking account, according to a police log. A report was taken.
