Police Logs: Syringe Found in Stoneham Store and More

The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions.

8:37 a.m., Oct. 23: A caller reported hitting a vehicle on Marble Street.

12:54 p.m., Oct. 23: Officers checked on two suspicious people on Bonard Road and Myopia Road. The two were walking a dog. No issue reported.

4:26 p.m., Oct. 23: Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Marshalls. Two white males ran out of the south side of the store with shopping bags.

4:53 p.m., Oct. 23: A caller reported hearing two loud explosions near Barbra Road and Valdora Drive. Officers checked the area and found to be concerned with.

6:17 p.m., Oct. 23: A caller reported that they had to terminate an employee. That former employee threatened to “get back” at the boss. Officers took note of the potential threat.

8:39 p.m., Oct. 23: Caller reported a loud dog barking on Broadway. Officers cleared the situation.

5:32 a.m., Oct. 24: A caller reported a motor vehicle accident near Main Street and Montvale Avenue. No injuries were reported.

8:34 a.m., Oct. 24: Caller reported a break in to their car on Cardinal Road.

1:40 p.m., Oct. 24: A caller reported that someone sprayed them and their dog with a garden hose on Windship Drive. 

8:02 p.m., Oct. 24: An employee at Famous Footwear found a syringe in the store. Police properly disposed of it.
