Police Logs: Bathtub in the Road, Car on Fire and More

November 23

2:18 p.m.: A caller found a purse on their front lawn and turned it in.

4:08 p.m.: Officers responded to an SUV in flames on 93 South and Spot Pond.

8:17 p.m.: Officers responded to a bathtub in the middle of the road on North Street. The tub was moved to the side of the road.

 

10:57 p.m.: A caller reported a fuel spill on Montvale Avenue near the Mobil Station. Officers saw that this was a very minor spill.

 

12:05 a.m.: A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Spring Street and Summer Street. Officers looked into this and found nothing suspicious.

 

12:14 a.m.: A caller reported that their house was egged on Constitution Road. The officer saw that there was one egg that hit the house and one egg on the front lawn.

 

November 24

12:19 p.m.: A caller reported a water main break on Fairlane Road.

 

3:16 p.m.: A caller reported a tree in the road on June Road.

 

4:37 p.m.: Officers took a possibly intoxicated woman on Broadway to Winchester Hospital for evaluation.

 

5:43 p.m.: A caller reported a tree down on Fallon Road and Park Street.

 

6:50 p.m.: A Dunkin Donuts employee reported a patron who challenged her to step outside to fight.

 

November 25

10:27 a.m.: Officers responded to a report of a hit and run on Franklin Street.

 

12:35 p.m.: A caller reported a person sleeping in their car on William Street. The driver was taking a lunchtime nap.

 

6:55 p.m.: A caller reported seeing a man punch a woman in the face at 128 Franklin Street. Officers were unable to locate the two.

 

November 26

8:07 a.m.: A clerk at Rapid Liquor reported a counterfeit $20.

 

10:19 a.m.: A caller reported a stolen painting from Bear Hill pro Shop.
