Police Log: Woman Arrested, Hit-And-Run Near Funeral Home & More

North Wilmington Woman Arrested

At 10:20 a.m. Dec. 11, Stoneham Police responded to Calthea Street on reports of a domestic disturbance. Several callers reported some type of domestic dispute at the location, according to police. Kalee Connolly, 23, of 108 Grove Ave., North Wilmington, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

Hit-And-Run Near Stoneham Funeral Home

At 7:42 a.m. Dec. 10, police were called to McDonald Finnegan Funeral Home for a report of a hit-and-run incident. The caller reported that a blue pickup truck with Mass. plates drove over the lawn and struck a sign on the property before proceeding around thecorner to a liquor store parking lot, according to police. A second witness reported the vehicle was driven by a female, and the suspect vehicle was located at the woman's residence, according to police. DPW was notified about the damage to a street sign, according to police.

9:25 a.m.: Police responded to Forest Street for a report of a car that crashed into a pole. A tow truck was called to the scene, as was NSTAR, according to police. One person was transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington, according to police. 

2:53 p.m.: Police called to Main Street for reports of a fight in a parking lot involving multiple individuals. The alleged victim left the scene, while two males declined to press charges, according to police. A fourth person involved in the altercation was located by Reading Police and planned to give a statement at Stoneham Police Station, according to police. Police filed a report.

10:07 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Main and Marble Streets for a report of a hit-and-run incident. A summons was sought by police.

Dec. 11

2:51 p.m.: Police responded to Myrtle Street on a report of a stolen vehicle. A third party reported a vehicle was just stolen off Myrtle Street, according to police. Police filed a report.

6:35 p.m.: Police called to South School on Summer Street for a report of a past larceny. The caller reported that her pocketbook was stolen from her parked vehicle at the school, according to police. Police filed a report.

Dec. 12

4:05 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Franklin and Summer Streets for a report of a motor vehicle crash. No injuries or tows logged.

Dec. 13

7:47 a.m.: Police called to the area of Gerry and Main Streets for a two-car accident. One person was transported to Winchester Hospital, while two vehicles were towed from the scene, according to police.
