Police Log: Two-Car Crash in Stoneham Sends One to Hospital

At 8:09 a.m. Oct. 4, Stoneham Police responded to the area of Montvale Avenue and Wright Street for a report of a two-car crash. One vehicle was towed from the scene, according to police. One person was taken to Winchester Hospital, according to police.

@7:21 a.m.: Police responded to the area of Franklin and Summer Streets for a report of a minor motor vehicle accident. One vehicle towed from scene.

@8 a.m.: Police called to Main Street for a report of minor motor vehicle accident. One vehicle was towed from scene. No injuries reported.

@9:37 a.m.: Police responded to Arnold Road on a report of a larceny. The caller reported discovering their coin collection was missing, according to police. A report was taken.

@11:59 a.m.: Police called to Crosby Street on a report of unregistered solicitors. Two men in dark clothing going door-to-door soliciting for "Central Windows," according to police. Police located solicitors in the area of Hanford and Janice Road. The solicitors were advised of the regulations, according to police. Two other solicitors were also working in the area. All four told officers they would register before soliciting again, according to police.

@2:52 p.m.: Police responded to the intersection of Pleasant and Summer Streets on a report of a motor vehicle accident. Two vehicles were towed from the scene, according to police. No injuries reported.

Oct. 4

@12:41 a.m.: Police called to Pond Street on a report of a large red dump truck that ran through a homeowner's fence and over his lawn, according to police. Police to file a report.

@10:02 a.m.: Police responded to Montvale Avenue on a report of a past hit-and-run motor vehicle accident. 

@6:48 p.m.: Police called to Marshalls on Main Street for a report of a larceny. A summons was sought, according to police.
