POLICE LOG: Stoneham Officers Search for House Break Suspect

At 2:37 p.m. May 11, Stoneham police responded to a Fellsway East home for a report of a . The suspect was described as a white man, wearing a blue hoodie, dark pants and wore a red and blue backpack that was open. He was last seen on a mountain bike pedaling toward J. J. Grimsby's.

@2:11 a.m.: Police called to Middle Street for a report of an attempted breaking and entering into a vehicle. Caller reported hearing a loud banging noise and then seeing a person hitting an SUV parked in front of her house. No signs of damage to any vehicle in the area. No description of suspect provided.

@10:02 a.m.: Police called to Main Street for a report of a hypodermic needle found near a dumpster. Needle recovered and disposed of properly.

@10:56 a.m.: Police respond to Central Street on a report of a past hit and run of a vehicle. Police to investigate.

@2:31 p.m.: Police called to Pond Street on a report of a in front of . State Police notified. One person was transported to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Massachusetts Highway department notified about the pole damage. 

@3:14 p.m.: Police receive a call about a past assault and battery at the skateboard park May 5. A summons sought in the case.

@8:35 p.m.: Police respond to the skateboard park on Pomeworth Street for a report of an outside fire. Kids in the area allegedly set furniture on fire. put out the fire and kids were located on Calthea Street. The kids were sent on their way. No arrests reported.
